Biography

Dr. Prem Shankar Mishra is a result-oriented academician and researcher with over a decade of rich experience in pharmaceutical education, research, and academic administration. He served as Professor and Head of the Department of D.Pharm at Galgotias University, where he leads curriculum development, accreditation processes (NAAC, NBA), and student mentoring initiatives. He is currently working as Professor & Dean, Faculty of Pharmacy, Vidya University, Meerut.

His research expertise spans drug design, heterocyclic synthesis, molecular docking (in-silico studies), and anticancer formulation development. Dr. Mishra has authored over 30 research papers in SCI and Scopus-indexed journals and contributed several book chapters published by Wiley, CRC Press, NOVA, and Scrivener Publishing.

A prolific innovator, he holds multiple granted Indian and international patents, including from South Africa, and has received grants from DRDO and CST, Uttar Pradesh for national-level research conferences. He was honored with the International Academic Excellence Award (2022) for his outstanding contributions to pharmaceutical sciences.

Dr. Mishra is an Approved Inspector of the Pharmacy Council of India and a core member of Galgotias University’s academic accreditation team. He is known for his dynamic leadership, commitment to quality education, and dedication to student development
