Biography

Dr. Isaac Karimi, born in 1979 in Isfahan, Iran, is an accomplished physiologist, veterinarian, and enzymologist whose multidisciplinary expertise spans veterinary sciences, pharmacology, biotechnology, and computational biosciences. His deep passion for nature and environmental conservation has guided his lifelong dedication to sustainable scientific innovation.

A distinguished academic and researcher, Dr. Karimi has made significant contributions in bioengineering, drug discovery, and computational chemical biology, pioneering a hybrid research approach that integrates systematic review methods with computational modeling. His scholarly work includes more than 150 research publications in leading ISI and Scopus-indexed journals, along with active participation on the editorial boards of several international biomedical journals.

As an Associate Professor at Razi University and adjunct researcher at Uppsala University, Dr. Karimi is deeply committed to mentoring young scientists and promoting translational research addressing global challenges such as protein shortages and environmental sustainability.

Renowned for his dynamic chalk-and-board teaching style and impactful communication, he has advanced knowledge in areas including enzyme technology, desert biotechnology, and river ecosystem preservation, leaving a lasting mark on both academia and environmental science.
