Biography

Dr. Tufael is a distinguished Clinical Biochemist with a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Parul University, India. With extensive experience in molecular diagnostics and core laboratory operations, he has held key roles at several healthcare institutions in Bangladesh, including Ibn Sina Diagnostic and Imaging Center and Ultra Care Health Centre. Dr. Tufael has also contributed to academia as a Senior Lecturer and served as an application specialist and science officer in diagnostic-focused roles.

He is a prolific researcher and author, with numerous peer-reviewed publications focusing on hepatocellular carcinoma biomarkers and metabolic research, as well as a contributing author to the Royal Golden Book. His work has earned him accolades such as the Best Young Scientist Award and the Outstanding Biochemist Award in 2025. A respected member of various professional organizations including ASBMB, ASCLS, and ASM, Dr. Tufael also serves on editorial boards of multiple scientific journals and regularly participates in international conferences as a keynote speaker.
