Biography
Dr. Marco Rinaldi is an accomplished Italian urologist with extensive clinical, surgical, and research experience across several leading urological departments in Italy. He is currently a Medical Doctor at the Azienda Sanitaria Universitaria Friuli Centrale, Department of Urology, Udine, Italy.
He completed his Specialization in Urology at the University of Bari, graduating with top honors (70/70 e Lode) and developing expertise in robotic surgery, oncologic urology, and functional urology. Dr. Rinaldi has held multiple medical and leadership roles in hospitals across Italy, including the “San Pio” Hospital of Castellaneta, the IOV–IRCCS Hospital of Castelfranco Veneto, and the F. Miulli Hospital.
He is highly skilled in minimally invasive and robotic urological procedures, having undergone dedicated training with the Da Vinci Surgical System, and he is certified in advanced laparoscopic and ultrasound techniques. His andrological and ultrasound qualifications further support his clinical versatility.
Dr. Rinaldi is an active researcher with numerous publications in prominent international journals, covering prostate cancer, bladder cancer, renal tumors, pelvic pain, robotic reconstructive procedures, and advanced biopsy techniques. He has authored and co-authored several peer-reviewed articles, abstracts, and clinical investigations, including multiple first-author works.
He serves on multiple editorial boards and acts as a reviewer for high-impact journals including Scientific Reports, Lasers in Medical Science, World Journal of Urology, Asian Journal of Andrology, and others. He has also participated as a faculty member, speaker, moderator, and tutor at national scientific meetings, workshops, and training courses in urology and oncology.
Dr. Rinaldi is a member of major national and international scientific societies, including the European Association of Urology (EAU), Italian Society of Urology, Italian Society of Andrology, and the Société Internationale d’Urologie.
